Photo eyes drifting out of line
Works some days, fails others. A loose bracket that shifts as the door moves.
Fix: Realign and tighten both brackets.

The opener thinks it hit something. Either the photo eyes lost sight of each other on the way down, or the close force is set so sensitive that normal friction reads as an obstruction. Both are adjustments, not new parts.

Travel limit set too far
The door reaches the floor before the opener expects to, senses resistance and reverses.
Fix: Travel limit adjustment.
Binding in the track
A real obstruction: bent track, a seized roller, or a door out of balance.
Fix: Find the bind. Turning the force up just hides it.

- Check both sensor lights are steady
- Look for anything sitting in the beam
- Watch the door on the way down for the spot where it hesitates

- Wind the force setting up to force it shut. That's the safety system you'd be turning off
